Access Levels control who has access to your account


Account Owner
  • The user who created the Account. The owner can only be reassigned by contacting PixelFlow support
  • The Account Owner has access to manage the Account Plan and payment info, as well as, Admin access

Account Admin
  • Account Admins have full access to create/update/delete anything (approvals, content, projects, playlists and contacts)
  • Can assign user access levels and permissions
  • Assign users this role by creating a new Account Contact and setting their Access = Admin

  • Create Project/Playlist
    • Permission to create new projects/playlists and full access to projects/playlists they created
    • Can approve content, delete approvals and delete content within projects they created
    • Can invite others to join their projects and playlists
    • Can only see projects/playlists they are members of or they created
    • Can see all Account contacts but cannot edit their details or permissions
    • Assign users this role by creating a new Account Contact and setting their Access = Create Project/Playlist

    Project/Playlist Member
  • Only see projects/playlists they are members of
  • Can create tasks and comments within Projects/Playlists they are a member of
  • May edit any task or comment within projects they are a member
  • May not download audio/video content unless granted permission to do so; however, Project Files (items within the Files tab) can be downloaded by any Project Member
  • Can share content for web review within Projects they are a member of
  • Only see contacts that are members of projects/playlists that they too are a member of
  • Assign users this role by inviting them to a Project/Playlist or setting their Access = Project/Playlist Member

  • External Users
    • Users who do not have a PixelFlow login id, such as customers and external approvers
    • They gain access to content through receipt of a sharing link
    • The sharing link allows them to review or download the content without needing to enter login credentials
    • Although the link is secure, organizations should consider that recipients might share links with others. For this reason, sharing links can be set to automatically expire

    Permissions give you additional control over access


    The following permissions can be set per user:
    • Delete Content
    • Create Approval
    • Delete Approval
    • Share for Review
    • Share for Download
    • Share with Web

    Modify user permissions by editing their Contact info and selecting "Permissions".
